French Potager

View looking back to the roadside and more planting of spuds.

Jersey checking out the new shoots. We only planted the seedling 2 weeks ago and already they are poking there heads through. We are hoping for a good crop of potatoes. We have planted early and late varieties.

Looking over our day's work and feeling pretty pleased with what we have achieved.

The area of land we hope to turn into our Potager. It's the 6th of April, we have just had the ground turned over and it needs more work done to it before we start planting

We have sown the first 2 rows of potatoes. The middle area of land still needs working but we were eager to get planting.

More signs of growth

These are our onion beds. We have set out 3 beds of onions, 2 white and 1 red.

The onion and shallot beds. We are going to plant another 2 onion beds as you cannot have enough onions.

Signs of growth! We only planted the seedlings 2 weeks ago, but with the ground warming up and a bit of rain we have shoots coming up all over the potager.
